As a dancer and a choreographer/teacher I came across several influences along the years. Lately, with the influence of a new metholodogy I’m implementing in laboratories (in studio and in nature) I had the need to come back to contact-improvisation. As I am one of the dance mentors of Arrabida Dance Gatherings with Pedro Paz (and other teachers/artists), I’ve been in direct contact with many diverse aspects of the body and of people (video, photograph, music, action, body-work, nutrition, nature caring, social community interaction, theatre, design and sharing). These opportunities made me re-think about presence and contact together with my own work (inner ecology dance) and I’m investing in this application of methods within different sessions (festivals, classes, creation, parties, ecstatic dance floor). So, here it is – Contact inside-out atmosphere making the urge to dive in our connections.
